The first step is to determine eligibility. If a non-profit organization and program meet the criteria, the representative for the organization should fill in the information requested in the Grant Request Information section below. This serves as a letter of inquiry and provides the necessary information needed by the review board. |
Within one week, the organization is contacted regarding eligibility. The organization is either given the password to download an application or the request is denied. |
The second step is to complete the application and forward it, with information requested, to the Foundation. It is important to be concise and provide the information in the order it is requested. |
The trustees review applications five times a year, January, March, May, August and November. An application is generally reviewed at the meeting following receipt. The organization is sent an acknowledgment regarding the status of the application within two weeks of the meeting. The acknowledgment states whether the request has been accepted or rejected, the amount awarded, the project being funded and the timing of when the grant will be mailed. |
An evaluation of the program funded will be requested by the Foundation. |
Incomplete applications are returned. |
